What is Interleague?
Interleague is a group of soccer associations that work together to provide an opportunity for players U12 and above to continue playing recreational soccer. Currently It includes:
Garland Soccer Association (GSA)
Lake Highlands Soccer Association (LHSA)
Richardson Soccer Association (RSA)

Interleague provides a well-matched playing environment where the emphasis is on fun, fitness, and playing soccer with friends. Teams with similar capabilities within each age group are organized into divisions, creating the opportunity for play to be as competitive as desired.

What age groups are involved?
LHSA recreational boys' and girls' teams playing in U12 (which includes U11) through U19 participate in Interleague play.

Area soccer associations all noted the same trend: a declining number of players beginning with the U11/U12 age groups, with fewer and fewer players in the older age groups. How do I register for Interleague play?
Players register with their member association (LHSA) during the regular registration period each fall and spring in the same manner as players and teams are currently registered, and at similar cost.

Teams from LHSA are formed by LHSA commissioners for each age group. Players that have played together on a team at a younger age level are kept together whenever possible and are combined with other players to form teams with rosters of up to a maximum of eighteen players, 21 for U19 teams.

.

Where are the fields?
Interleague teams usually play a "home-and-home" series with each team within their division. Home games for LHSA are at the Moss field complex, with "away" games at fields maintained by the other member associations. To see the member associations' field directions, follow these links:
